A suspension bridge takes you from the parking lot to a hiking loop that is just under two miles long. It was clean, easy to navigate and the animals seemed well cared for. Eagle Fern Park in Eagle Creek, OR Surrounded by old growth forest, Eagle Fern Park is the perfect place to take in the natural beauty of Oregon. Lost & Found boxes are in the individual parks.

This gem of a Clackamas County Park is a great place to enjoy a quiet forest walk in the off season. They aren't the longest hikes I've ever been on by any means.
The State of Oregon, in response to COVID-19, has decided to not allow overnight camps this summer, in addition to putting strict guidelines on day camps. It is a perfect park setting along the river with nice hiking trails. Eagle Fern park was an awesome setting for a nice campfire to roast some hot dogs and marshmallows. A lot of the trees are covered in moss, and lichens, a lot of it actually hanging off the branches.
Even though it is the off season, there seemed to be quite a few people coming into the park to hike the trails, walk along the river, or hang out on the (totally rad) suspension bridge.While out and about with The Wife and The Tax Deduction we went adventuring, which is our term for driving around looking for new stuff.
