Texas College Bridge is a user-friendly platform that provides individualized support to help students strengthen their math and English skill prior to enrolling in college. My professors have been, on average, understanding, and informative. As a commuter, my only issue with the university is the limited parking spots on campus. I even had an opportunity to travel to Missouri as a part of our Texas State University SIFE team. An organization that I love is the Baptist Student Ministry (BSM), I am on the leadership team and I absolutely enjoy meeting new people, especially the freshmen students, and making connections with each and everyone.
The gym facilities are vast and a variety of classes are offered. And the diversity that exists on campus, so that all students are able to connect with a variety of individuals that would not commonly meet. I looked forward to Jan Term every year, and the opportunities to study abroad are excellent, which many of my friends took advantage of. Adding the construction on campus makes everything all a little bit more difficult as someone who has to live from home away from campus and drive to school. We are a diverse community of scholars who value collaboration, not cut-throat competition. It's a great environment for those who are happy to be a little bit geeky. There has been the construction of new buildings on campus that have limited parking spots. The staff, professors, and volunteers are so welcoming. Not only that, but attending all the sport events was my favorite! Campus constantly has things going on whether its social clubs, intramurals, sports, and even speakers. I get excited when we go visit my cousin because it feels like home. Texas College is ranked #2,087 in ethnic diversity nationwide with a student body composition that is below the national average.

It was all such a great college experience and I know if you step foot on campus you’ll immediately see what it’s all about.Good school for academics, especially for technology-based majors.
The restaurants on and off campus are all amazing and Fort Worth offers amazing food options and things to do all within a 15 minute drive!
TCU has an amazing community that allows students to feel like they always have something to do. If you are willing to put in the work then they are willing to get you to where you need to be. From fall football games to the Carol of Lights in December, the spring flowers of Arbor Day and commencement in May, there is always something to do, see or experience when you are a Red Raider.
